I decided to donate to            “The Fun Clothes” because I grew up in Harnett County and it felt very near and dear to me to be able to donate clothes I did not need but was needed to benefit others in my community.

I decided to donate to    “The Fun Clothes” because I grew up in Harnett County and attended "Triton High School." I wanted to be apart of this growing community of "The Fun Clothes!"

As a retired Harnett County School employee for 25 years, I wanted to volunteer my time and give back to my community.

The reason I chose to give to “The Fun Clothes” was because it was an opportunity to give back to the county in which I was raise. I saw first hand how many children didn’t have clothing that “looked” like their peers. As a result, they were a target for bullying. I don’t want any child to ever have to deal with bullying for any reason and especially for not having adequate clothing. When you look good, you feel good and perform better as well. Let’s all pitch in and help the children!

Making a donation to The Fun Clothes was a decision I made completely due to their mission statement to provide “with a feeling of hope and with a smile”. If an organization can take something I am not able to use and ensure it will go to help someone else in need, I will definitely be a repetitive donor!
